Hi Doctor, Good day. My mother is a CKD patient with eGFR of 13.7 and creatine level of 320. Recently, I came across of stem cell treatment for CKD patient provided by a health care called Global Stem Cells (found in their website). Is this stem cell treatment recommended and already in practice? What I can expect from the treatment? We are hoping to delay her from going dialysis. Your advise is much appreciated.

There are no treatments for chronic kidney disease (CKD) that include stem cells and are FDA approved.  I most cases of stem cell therapy that is offered on the Internet, these are money scams and will not offer any benefit to patients with CKD.  I do not recommend stem cell therapy for patients with CKD.
