I have just been diagnosed with kidney problems and the pain is pretty intense. What is the best thing for pain? I cannot take aspirin or NSAIDS that often and sometimes Tylenol does nothing. Any suggestions. I have awful pain.

It is best that you discuss this pain with your physician.  The best way to treat pain is to diagnose the cause of the pain and then treat in order to alleviate the cause of the pain.  Given your kidney disease, the choices for pain relief can be narrow, so it is best to have a specific diagnosis of the cause of the pain and then initiate specific treatment to alleviate the pain.  I am unable to make treatment recommendations without performing a complete history and physical examination.
