I have been diagnosed with stage 3a CKD. How can I reverse it?

In most cases, chronic kidney disease (CKD) is not a reversible disease.  The goal of treatment for CKD is to slow progression and avoid kidney failure.  You should follow your doctor’s advice.  You should not smoke.  Your blood pressure should be less than 140/80 and you should follow a low salt diet.  You should exercise on a regular basis, eat a healthy diet and maintain a healthy body weight.  Treatment and follow up should be discussed with your physician.
