At my recent physical my GFR dropped from 86 last year to 73 this year. Should I be concerned?

If the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) is more than 60 milliliters per minute per 1.73 meters squared, then this is a normal value for kidney function.  In order to diagnose chronic kidney disease (CKD), you should have urine testing for blood, protein or infection.  I suggest continued follow up with your physician.
