Hi, I have CKD. I am 38 years old. I have had it for the last 10 years, and because that, I have a HBP, but my labs are always up and down. My question is: what’s the best way to know when the kidney is getting worse or better according to the labs?

I suggest that you visit our web site that discusses kidney disease and the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).  The best way to follow your kidney function is by calculating your eGFR.  You can review the equation and link to a discussion of kidney disease at:  https://www.kidney.org/professionals/KDOQI/gfr_calculator
