My father is suffering from IgA nephropathy for last two years. His present blood creatinine is 2.1mg/dl. Our doctor is only giving him MEGA-3 medicine and some medicine for blood pressure. His current B.P is 130/80. I want to ask that treatment is going in right way or not?

There is no specific treatment for IgA nephropathy.  Treatment of high blood pressure and in some cases the use of fish oil has been recommended.  Other treatments are used only if there is progressive loss of kidney function or large amounts of protein in the urine (proteinuria).  I suggest that your father continue to consult with his nephrologist.
