Is an 86 year old male in stable health with stage 4 kidney disease allowed to consume alcohol at all?For example one shot glass full once a week?

Alcohol consumption in moderation does not cause any problems for the kidneys.  A man should be able to consume up to two shots of alcohol per day and not suffer any further injury to his kidneys.
