I have stage three CKD. How much water should I drink each day? Can I drink too much water?

There is no limit to the water that you can drink per day.  Even with Stage 3 chronic kidney disease (CKD), your kidney function should be sufficient to handle any water that you may drink.  I suggest that you drink water if you are thirsty, but drinking water in reasonable amounts should not pose a problem for your kidney function.  I generally recommend drinking at least 4 to 6 glasses of water or liquids per day.
