My sister has reduced kidney function due to diabetes but also suffers from chronic back pain and frozen shoulder. I know you cannot recommend medicine but wonder if you have any input regarding CROCIN being a kidney-friendly pain reliever. She cannot take ibuprofen, and aspirin and acetaminophen do not help her. I am researching medicines that she can discuss with her Doctor and I came across this one. Would value your opinion.

Crocin is a 500 milligram tablet of acetaminophen.  This is safe for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) but you indicate that your sister has not been benefited from this drug in the past.  Topical agents such as sports creams and topical arthritis formulas are generally safe for patients with CKD.
