Is it helpful for a CKD patient to have frequent urination or is it harmful?

As kidney function decreases, is may be that urination will increase as the kidney is no longer able to concentrate urine well, leading to more dilute urine that must be passed more frequently.  We commonly seen increasing passage of urine at night in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
