My kidney function is 22%. Doctors say dialysis if it drops below 10%. What can I do to prevent function from dropping further?

I am unable to make a specific diagnosis as to the cause of your chronic kidney disease (CKD).  I suggest that you continue to consult with your physician about your disease.  The treatment of CKD involves delaying the progression of the disease by control of blood pressure, careful diet control,  and monitoring of your kidney disease.
