My BUN/Creatinine is High at 38 but my BUN and Creatinine, Serum are Normal what does this mean?

I am not able to interpret the laboratory tests that you describe without performing a complete history and physical examination.  I would also have to know the laboratory normals for the laboratory that performed the testing. I suggest that you discuss this with the physician who recommended the testing.  In most cases, the blood urea nitrogen (BUN) to creatinine ratio (BUN/Creatinine) is not a reliable test for making a specific diagnosis.
