My husband Thomas (India) is suffering from diabetic nephropathy. His serum creatinine is 3.2 mg/dl. Is he at risk factor and, if yes, so how much percent it has effected kidney? Please guide me.

I am unable to make a specific diagnosis based on the information that you present.  You can calculate your husband’s estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and his Stage of chronic kidney disease (CKD) on our web site.  I suggest that you go to our web site and use your husband’s information to estimate his eGFR and Stage of CKD at:  https://www.kidney.org/professionals/KDOQI/gfr_calculator
