I was on dialysis 34 years ago then had a kidney transplant. I need a new kidney now and will start dialysis soon. Has it changed in 34 years? I had a difficult time on dialysis. Am I justified in being terrified of dialysis again since I had such a horrid experience with it in the past?

Dr. I get cramps at night and I was told that taking Magnesium vitamins could help, specifically Magnesium Glycinate vitamins. Would these vitamins hurt or help my kidneys?
