My proteinuria is 0.12 g/day. Is this normal or abnormal. I want to know about precautions.

The normal amount of protein in the urine (proteinuria) is less than 0.2 grams per day. For detection of chronic kidney disease (CKD), we recommend annual testing for kidney disease by have a blood test for creatinine and calculating an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). You should also have a urine test for blood, protein and infection annually as well.

Your test result would appear to be normal.
