I just had my lab done. I’m a white 55 year old female. Not diabetic 5’3, but my GFR was 50 and 56 which was flagged low. What should I do? Should this concern me? My doc said maybe just dehydration but I drink over a liter of water a day, no pop or alcohol. So I’m feeling concerned.

I am unable to make a specific diagnosis based on the information that you present. I do suggest that you have urine testing for blood, protein and infection. This testing may need to be repeated to see if it is consistently abnormal. I suggest that you express your concern to your physician.
