Was wondering what it means when you have BUN of 29 mg/DL but creatinine is 0.9mg/dL and total GFR is >60 from a metabolic panel screening. Everything was normal except for BUN level.

I am unable to interpret your laboratory work without performing a complete history and physical examination. The Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) test has many different reasons for being abnormal. Most commonly this means dehydration but you should discuss your results with your physician who is familiar with your medical history and can perform a physical examination.
