Dear Dr: Do you have any advice for constipation while consuming a plant based diet and 2 L water consumption. I am unable to use fiber supplements even with added water I get stopped up. My nephrologist recommended Miralax but I still get constipation even with daily exercise.

I also recommend Miralax for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and experiencing constipation. Daily doses of Miralax are safe for patients with CKD. Advertisements
