Can Baking Powder or Baking Soda improve the kidneys for patients that just started dialysis treatment 3 times a week?

Once someone is on dialysis, sodium bicarbonate therapy is usually not necessary and it contains sodium which can cause further weight gain on dialysis.  Hence, once someone starts dialysis treatments, I generally recommend that the sodium bicarbonate be stopped.

Hello, My latest blood tests showed creatinine level at 1.51, GFR at 48, dropped from 52 in just 3 months. Does magnetic therapy help to reduce Creatinine level? Does Chinese Herbs help at all? What should I do to stop creatinine level going up? Thanks.

My aunt had a history of dialysis for about 20 years. She was fine with it but she had an accident and suffering from an hairline fracture now. She is completely bed ridden. Please suggest any medication for her since doctors have denied for the operation. Please help us.

I am unable to recommend medical treatment without performing a complete history and physical examination.  This will require the cooperation of several physicians who are treating your aunt.  Those physicians are able to see and examine your aunt.
