I have one kidney. I was born this way. I’ve had one perfect pregnancy. I’m wondering if it would be OK to keep having babies if the time between pregnancies is a year or more. My last pregnancy was two years ago. My kidney works great and I have no complications. What do you suggest?

I am unable to give medical advice without performing a complete history and physical examination on you.  Patients with one kidney commonly have no complications from pregnancy, but you should be followed carefully for blood pressure, urine testing, blood testing and monitoring of any pregnancy.
